Do is the shortest of the trio. Re is the heavyset brother. Mi is the tallest of the three. All three of them have blue fur and are depicted as [[wikipedia:Poodle|poodles]] with a Continental or Lion clip, although Mi is the only one to have poms on his wrists. The characters are depicted as stereotypical [[wikipedia:Italy|Italian]] cooks, as can be seen by their red scarfs, and [[wikipedia:Toque|Toque blanche]] type of hats. Do, Re and Mi Lano work at [[The King's castle|the King's castle]] in the kitchen as cooks. They are also seen serving food and drinks to the head of state at the castle. This likely means that the castle's staff is independent from the monarchy. Specifically Re Lano is seen serving cheese to [[Dolf de Kraai|emperor Dolf]], during his authoritarian reign of the castle. [[Snuif de Muis]] had snuck in between the two pieces of cheese to assault Dolf. It is unknown whether or not Re Lano was in on Snuif's plan.<ref name="Ep3" /><ref name="Ep25" />
