The animated series was a co-production between TV Tokyo (Japan), VARA (Holland), ZDF (Germany), TVE (Spain) and TF1 (France).

History

Animation

Alfred J. Kwak uses traditional animation and was shot on 16mm film[citation needed].

The animation was done by Telescreen and Visual '80. Telecom Animation Film assisting with episodes 22, 30 and 30.[1]
