It was also sold together in the 3 DVD collection set Vriendschap - 3 DVD BOX.

DVD Menus

This is the only DVD menu where the episode thumbnails and titles are staggered the other way around. This was likely to make room for the longer episode title of episode 43.

Somewhere on an island, far from Great Waterland, there is a volcano from which strange flames emerge. Alfred and Professor Paljas travel to the island to investigate the volcano. They discover a wounded alien dragon trapped inside the volcano...

De draak

Alfred en Professor Paljas proberen de arme draak uit de vulkaan te krijgen, maar K. Rokodil wil de draak stelen om als attractie in zijn pretpark te gebruiken. Slagen Alfred en Paljas erin de draak op tijd te bevrijden en terug te sturen naar zijn eigen planeet?

Alfred and Professor Paljas try to rescue the poor dragon from the volcano, but K. Rokodil wants to steal the dragon to use it as an attraction in his amusement park. Will Alfred and Paljas manage to free the dragon in time and send it back to its own planet?

Errata

• While it says stereo on the back of all of the DVDs, the audio is in fact mono.
• The preview thumbnail for Alfred J. Kwak Episode 40 shows the pyramids under water with the caption "De piramiden staan al flink onder water." (lit. "The pyramids are already quite far underwater."), however what is depicted in the scene from the episode where this thumbnail is taken from is what could potentially happen if the dam is actually built. The caption erroneously states that this has already happened.
