Storyline
Bella Peter-Hazebloot works at the Polderstad library as a librarian. A frequent visitor is a retired Meester Bas Buldog. While looking for minstrel Kukeleku's collected works, the two start a lively conversation, when Buldog realizes she has the same name as one of his daughters.[note 1] The conversation ends with Buldog asking Bella's permission to call her by her first name, as she might as well have been one of his past students. She agrees.[1]
