Alfred reads in the Groot-Waterland Newspaper about a country where there is almost no water. Since Groot-Waterland has plenty of water, Alfred wants to help the country get water. By selling duckweed to ducks, he hopes that with the money he earns he will eventually be able to dig a canal to that poor country...

De bijen

Wanneer de schatkist leeg is, besluit de koning van Groot-Waterland geld te lenen van Alfred. Alleen als de koning belooft het geld snel terug te geven, stemt Alfred toe. De koning betaalt helemaal niets terug en dus verzamelt Alfred al zijn moed bij elkaar om de koning een bezoekje te brengen...

When the treasury is empty, the king of Groot-Waterland decides to borrow money from Alfred. Alfred only agrees if the king promises to pay the money back quickly. The king pays nothing back at all, so Alfred gathers all his courage to pay the king a visit...

Errata

• While it says stereo on the back of all of the DVDs, the audio is in fact mono.
• In the blurb for episode 6 it's stated that other characters are also trying to win whatever it takes, however while there are other competitors, they are not featured as being threats to Alfred or Hannes winning.
