Alfred J. Kwak 4 Disc Collector's Set is a 4 DVD-R disc box set released on September 6th, 2007 for US$49.95 (equivalent to US$72.59 or €67.07 in 2024). It consists of the previously released DVDs Alfred comes to life 1, My father is Henk 2, Sea Scouts 3 and Flying carpet 4. The set was available for purchase up until sometime inbetween 2013 to 2019 when it became listed as unavailable.

DVD 1 Alfred Comes to Life 1 (Episodes 1-3)

Compared to the other discs, this disc contains no menu and the episodes are not placed in chronological order.

1	Alfred comes to life	Johan Quack meets the love of his life, Anna Polder. The two marry and lay seven eggs, but before the family can truly settle, the Beaver Corporation ruins their once peaceful pasture in Upper Waterland.
3	The ruby of the crown	Grabby has stolen the King's crown jewel, but Alfred has been locked up in his stead. Alfred needs to appear in front of a judge to see if he will be executed for the crime of stealing the jewel.
2	Alfred's first birthday	Henk persuades Johan, Anna and their family to emigrate to Waterland, but on the way there the family gets struck by a car. Henk takes their only surviving son, Alfred Jonathan Quack, and his friends to the King's Palace for Alfred's first birthday party.

DVD 2 My father is Henk 2 (Episodes 4-6)

4	My father is Henk	Alfred and Henk are bullied by Dolf and his two friends due to their unconventional father-son relationship. After school, Alfred confronts Dolf, but the situation escalates, and Dolf falls into a well outside of town.
5	Dolf's secret	Alfred and Dolf find themselves trapped in a well just outside of town. When Henk notices Alfred hasn’t returned home, he begins searching for him and eventually discovers Scratchpaws the Cat at the top of the well.
6	The Great Race	Alfred decides to participate in a triathlon alongside his friends, Henry and Andy. Unable to compete himself, Dolf attempts to help Andy win the race by using stolen elephant medicine to give him an energy boost.

DVD 3 Sea Scouts 3 (Episodes 7-9)

7	Sea scouts (part 1)	Alfred joins the Sea Scouts along with most of his friends. Among the group, however, is a secret spy from Sparrow Country who introduces himself as Peter.
8	Sea scouts (part 2)	Alfred is found with the spy's listening device and put into the brig. Lispel and the spy Peter break him out so Alfred can be chased by the crew while they try to plant an army of termites to destroy the ship they're on.
9	The strange bottle	Alfred moves out of Henk's mine house and finishes building his own house. On his housewarming Ollie gives him a magic lamp that, unbeknownst to them, is being looked for by two tigers from an eastern country.

DVD 4 Flying carpet 4 (Episodes 10-12)

10	Flying carpet	Dolf stumbles onto Alfred trying to remove the cork of the magic lamp, not realizing that there is a terrible genie inside. The tigers from the eastern country try to stop them, but it's too late.
11	Alfred joins the circus	Alfred takes on his first job as a clown at the circus, believing he would excel at making people laugh. However, he soon discovers that working as a circus clown is far more challenging than he initially imagined.
12	Alfred's chess adventure	While Inspector Holmes is pursuing Scratchpaws the Cat for a burglary, Alfred and Henk are engaged in a chess game. To Alfred's surprise, after Henk falls asleep, the White Queen chess piece suddenly comes to life.

Production

These DVDs were produced through CustomFlix and appear to have been exclusively sold on Amazon.com (manufactured with an on-demand model). This collection only ever received 2 reviews, so there might not have been a lot of copies made.

Tidbits

About the transfer

• The video has gone through a type of PAL to NTSC framerate conversion that introduces blended frames.
• The video on episodes 1 and 2 has been vertically downscaled with letterboxing added, resulting in a squished display aspect ratio of the active area.
• The audio on episode 1 has it's music and effects track duplicated and downmixed with significant delay and volume, creating a noticable echo. The other episodes don't have as notable of an echo.
• The audio on episode 3 has it's complete mix on the left channel and the music and effects track on the right channel. This is notable for being the only documented instance of an Alfred J. Kwak music and effects track being available on DVD. The opening and ending songs still contain vocals in both channels.
