The group manages to escape together, and Prince Shallaman sets out to reunite with his true love, Prinzessin Budor, who is the princess of Yale.

Inside the volcano, Alfred discovers a dragon capable of breathing fire that emits no heat. Together with Professor Paljas and a construction crew, they begin efforts to safely extract the dragon from the volcano. However, Kra intervenes by purchasing the dragon from the Maharadscha Nikilokopoen and relocates it to the theme park for his own purposes.

However, before solving the epidemic Professor Paljas has an idea to solve the disparaties in das Land von Zwei.

Armed with the magic violin, Alfred confronts the king of das Land von Zwei, demanding that the kingdom’s wealth be fairly distributed between the rich and poor sides of the country—otherwise, he will withhold the cure for the epidemic. The king agrees to the terms, but as soon as Alfred stops playing the violin, he is betrayed and thrown into prison.

Stibitzi falls out of the sky right in front of Alfred's house, after being mesmerized by a rainbow. Not long after Professor Paljas arrives to try and persuade Alfred to join him on an expedition to the jungle of the Arlon Kontinent to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Henk and Stibitzi join them and the group sets off to the jungle to meet a friend of the Professor, Dokter Livingston.

After being almost cooked alive Alfred, Professor Paljas, Henk, Stibitzi, Dokter Livingston and Janola are introduced to her majesty Highness Nora who shows them the pot of gold under the rainbow. But when Alfred and the others wake up the next day, the pot of gold is gone, and so is Stibitzi.

Professor Paljas has tasked himself with making a new carfuel that won't cause acid rain. When K. Rokodil finds out, he sends Hippo Nilpferd to Morena to find Kra to make sure Professor Paljas's fuel project does not endanger the continued existence of Rokodil's fuel companies.

Alfred completely forgets a date with Winnie and the two have a big fight. Meanwhile, Geppe helps Kra break out of prison and his first act is to break into Professor Paljas's lab to steal his new invention, the Mangelstrahl. When Winnie incidentally comes by as Kra has broken in, he takes her as a hostage and tells Professor Paljas that he will flee abroad.
