"De wonderlijke avonturen van Alfred J. Kwak" (lit. 'The wonderous adventures of Alfred J. Kwak') is a series of Dutch children's books, each based on one or two episodes of the animated series released in the Netherlands between 1989 and 1991 in 2 batches. The first two books were also released as mini books in Belgium in 1991 and to accomodate for the smaller format the story text on the pages was halved.[1] For the first two books of this series the text for De wonderlijke avonturen van de eend Alfred Jodocus Kwak: Goedemorgen was used. These books are accompanied with cels from the production.
The book De wonderlijke avonturen van Alfred J. Kwak: het grote voorleesboek, released in 2010, is not officially part of this series.

- ↑ Uncredited. Likely Daan Jippes was responsible for the inking several book cover artworks. Jippes is confirmed to have inked 3 of the cover images of this series, so it is likely he helped with all of them. Hans Bacher (5 November 2010). "Hans Bacher's Weblog". one1more2time3.wordpress.com.
