"De wonderlijke avonturen van Alfred J. Kwak" (lit. 'The wonderous adventures of Alfred J. Kwak') is a series of Dutch children's books, each based on one or two episodes of the animated series released in the Netherlands between 1989 and 1991 in 2 batches. The first two books were also released as mini books to be given away with Persil products in 1991 and to accomodate for the smaller format the story text on the pages was halved.[1] For the first two books of this series the text for De wonderlijke avonturen van de eend Alfred Jodocus Kwak: Goedemorgen was used. These books are accompanied with cels from the production.

The book De wonderlijke avonturen van Alfred J. Kwak: het grote voorleesboek, released in 2010, is not officially part of this series.
