* In Dutch books and other production materials, Kaspar Rokodil is named frequently instead of Alfons Rokodil. For example in De wonderlijke avonturen van Alfred J. Kwak: het grote voorleesboek, De wonderlijke avonturen van de eend Alfred Jodocus Kwak: Goedemorgen and De Droom van Alfred Jodocus Kwak all mention Kaspar Rokodil as being the financier of Groot Speelgoedland, while the designs show Alfons Rokodil. There are two character designs in Character- and Color-Designs for Alfred J. Kwak, one is called "A. Rokodil" (11/1), whose skin is a more grayish tone, and another is called "K. Rokodil" (82/12), who has a darker shade of green. The first one appears in episode 1, episode 2 and episode 12, while the second one appears regularly from episode Episode 14. In the animated series Alfons Rokodil is likely the mayor of Polderstad, while Kaspar Rokodil is stated to be the mayor of Waterslag aan Zee.
